Building a Social Media Strategy That Doesn't Suck

Let's be honest: most social media strategies are terrible. They're built on vanity metrics, copycat content, and the desperate hope that something will go viral. Here's a different approach.

    Stop Chasing Followers

Follower count is the most overrated metric in social media. A thousand engaged followers who buy from you are worth more than a million passive ones who scroll past.

    Content Pillars, Not Random Posts

Every post should serve one of 3-5 core content pillars that align with your brand values and audience needs. This creates consistency without monotony.

    The 70/20/10 Rule

70% of your content should provide value. 20% should build community. 10% should sell. Most brands invert this ratio and wonder why nobody engages.

    Measure What Matters

Engagement rate, save rate, share rate, click-through rate, and conversion rate. These are the metrics that correlate with business outcomes.
