Ghouthia Sangam

What is Ghouthia Sangam

Ghouthia Sangam is a Muslim community trust in Nagore, Tamil Nadu, serving the town since 1920 under a simple principle — let us do what we can, for those who have not. The brief was unusual because the organisation is not one institution but eight: a higher secondary school, a primary school, an Arabic madrasa, the Ezhu Lebbai Jamia Masjid, the Baithu Sabha devotional music group, a sporting club with a badminton academy, and an alumni association, all under one governing body. The site had to let each wing be found and understood on its own terms without fragmenting into eight separate websites, so it is built around that structure rather than fighting it — history and committee records for an organisation with more than a century of them, events and news for the wings that run programmes, a gallery, and membership and donation paths for people who want to contribute.
